Dropty ears are not a way to identify whether a native dog is a native dog. Some purebred dog breeds also have droopy ears. We can tell whether a dog is a native dog by its appearance: a native dog's face has a short and pointed mouth and a flat forehead; its ears are high and small, upright, semi-erect or drooping; its tail is slightly forward.
