Determining whether a cat is constipated can be judged by observing the cat’s defecation time and the shape of the feces. If the cat defecates for too long or does not defecate for a long time, it may be caused by constipation; if the cat’s poop is nut-shaped and relatively hard , also indicates that the cat has constipation. Cat constipation is generally caused by improper diet or lack of water. It is best to switch the cat to liquid food, let the cat drink more water, and feed some probiotics to promote gastrointestinal motility.
