First aid method for puppy poisoning

Emergency vomiting
Puppies that are poisoned are mostly caused by eating inedible food. The most direct way is to induce vomiting to make it vomit out the "poisons" it has eaten in its stomach. If you are inducing vomiting yourself, you usually use hydrogen peroxide and give the dog a tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. However, vomiting is usually done when the dog has been poisoned for no more than 2 hours. If the time is too long, the poison will have been digested.
Activated carbon adsorption
If the puppy has been poisoned for more than two hours and the contents in the stomach have been digested but not completely absorbed, activated carbon can be used to absorb the toxicity. The dose is 2g of activated charcoal taken orally per 1kg of body weight. 3ml of water needs to be added to each gram, and it needs to be instilled through a gastric tube and drained out after half an hour.
Gastric lavage
If the puppy has not digested the poison, you can immediately send it to the pet hospital for gastric lavage. This is a first aid method for puppy poisoning. It can remove the poison in the stomach. Toxins are excreted from the body, so that the erosion of poisons can be interrupted, and a small amount of absorbed poisons can be excreted from the body through its own metabolism.
Caharsis and diuresis
After a puppy is poisoned, in order to expel toxins from the body faster, you can give it some mild laxatives to reduce the absorption of toxins in the gastrointestinal tract. You can also give your dog more water and feed it some diuretic food or medicine to increase its urination.
