Cracks in the soles of dog feet are usually caused by the dog running for a long time and rubbing on rough ground. You need to use scissors to trim the hair around the foot pads, clean the foreign matter on the foot pads with warm water, and disinfect with diluted hydrogen peroxide. Apply antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs to avoid secondary bacterial infection, and finally wrap it with clean gauze to control the dog’s amount of exercise. When raising your dog, you can apply moisturizing cream or Vaseline on the foot pads.
