Methods to deal with a swollen dog bite

Wash the wound with soapy water for more than 20 minutes, then repeatedly apply iodine and medicinal alcohol to disinfect the wound 2-3 times. Do not bandage the wound and leave it fully exposed. If there are observation conditions, one injection can be given first to enter the ten-day observation period.
No injection is required in this case
1. The dog is a domestic dog and has regular rabies vaccinations and internal deworming.
2. Rarely come into contact with other animals, and have not been hurt or licked by other animals recently.
3. The dog is in good health, has no cold, is in normal spirits, and has a normal appetite.
4. There are reasons for biting, such as being provoked or threatened; being pulled by force; deliberately irritating; competing for food; protecting children; being hurt, etc. The bite will be as active as usual after the bite.
Meeting all the above conditions is indispensable, and vaccination is not required. The dog is basically healthy and does not carry transmissible rabies virus, and the chance of infection is extremely low. Dogs that exhibit obvious behavioral abnormalities will need to be vaccinated against rabies.
