1. Young dogs

How to relieve motion sickness in dogs

1. First of all, just like the solution to motion sickness in humans, dogs with motion sickness should also sit forward and let the dog move as far as possible. Looking forward is more comfortable than looking out the window or behind, reducing visual stimulation.
2. Open windows to maintain air circulation. Although it’s cold outside in the winter, for your dog’s sake, it’s better to open the windows to get some air. It should be noted that many owners will turn on the heater when traveling in winter, and excessive temperature in the car can also cause discomfort to dogs.
3. Feed the dog less food before getting in the car. For humans, it will be uncomfortable to ride in a car when they are hungry or too full. The same is true for dogs, especially for dogs with the habit of motion sickness. You can fast your dog properly before riding in the car. If you are hungry, just have a few dog snacks. After getting off the car, replenish the dog’s energy.
