Causes of dog urethritis

1. The urethral mucosa is stimulated by mechanical and chemical pathogenic factors, causing damage and secondary infection.
2. It can be caused by the spread of inflammation in adjacent organs (posthitis, cystitis, endometritis, etc.).

Treatment measures for dog urethritis

1. Control infection, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory: ampicillin 10.0 mg, kilogram intramuscular injection, ceftriaxone 20.0 mg/kg intramuscular injection; roxithromycin 5 mg/kg PO.
2. Rinse the bladder with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution.
3. Oral administration of chloroacid at the same time to convert urine will have a better effect.
