First of all, let the dog remember its name

Call the dog’s name before feeding it. Such a name needs to be loud, compact and distinct. This is not because it sounds good, but because such a name is easy for the dog to remember. The dog will come to you because of the attraction of food, but over time, it will remember its own name.

Let the dog sit down in front of you "SIT"---------Sit

Let the dog stand on the left side of the owner, and while giving the "SIT" command, use your right hand Lift the collar and press the dog's back with your left hand. When the dog is forced to sit down under this mechanical stimulation, the dog is then rewarded with food. After repeated training many times, the dog can develop the action of sitting down (the dog will think that the food is the sign that it has completed all this) Follow the command with a reward so that you can remember your instructions.) On this basis, training is carried out in conjunction with gestures. If you are asked to sit on the front, stretch your right upper arm flat outwards, and your forearm is vertical upward, with the palm of your hand facing forward to form an "L" shape; if you are asked to sit on the left side, tap your left abdomen with your left hand. If the dog can already do the "SIT" action, it should be gradually trained to extend its sitting time, from being able to sit for 3 to 5 seconds until it is extended to more than 5 minutes.

Training "DOWN"----------Lie

In training, there are two methods: one is for the owner to face the dog on the right and hold it in his right hand Food, slowly move downward from the mouth, issue a "down" command, and pull the leash downward to stimulate the dog. When a dog is stimulated by food and machinery, it can make downward movements. When the dog "down" is completed, the dog will receive a timely food reward. Later, as the conditioned reflex develops, the incentives and stimuli gradually disappear. Another method is to ask the dog to sit down. The owner should squat down, hold the dog's forelimbs with both hands, and stretch forward. If the dog makes a "down" movement, then the dog should be given a food reward at this time. (If your puppy doesn't want to be here, get down and do it for him. Grab his front legs and stretch forward, gently pressing his body toward the ground. When he's finally done, praise him and touch the top of his head. , repeat this action, and enhance the dog's impression until it remembers it.) After that, the dog should perform gesture training (left arm drooping, palm forward, palm down, waving up and down) within a certain distance to improve its action level, Extend the command distance and be able to lie down for more than 5 minutes according to the owner's commands and gestures.

Learn "STAY" again-------------Station training

You use gestures and words to tell it at the same time: "STAY". At this point you step away from your dog, not very far, just to see if the dog can hold still while you are gone. If the dog does not move from its original position, youWalk back to encourage it, give it some food, stroke its neck and shoulders, and let the dog see your expression of appreciation. You know, a dog cannot understand you at all, no matter how smart the dog is. If you sometimes think your dog is "empathetic", it's just because it remembers the way you praised it. On the contrary, if you find that the dog moves after you left, you should immediately go back and repeat the training just now, and use your expression and body language to tell the dog: The person is not satisfied with its performance just now. If you keep doing this repeatedly, the dog will be able to understand the true meaning of you asking it to "STAY". In the future, you can gradually extend the time and distance you leave, and the dog will gradually get used to waiting for you to come back after doing things.

STAND------------Stand up training

During training, make the dog sit down first, then gently pull the leash and give the "STAND" command and Sign (stretch your right arm toward the dog, palm up), and reward the dog when it stands. The owner should gradually leave his side so that he can stand longer. On this basis, gradually develop the ability to stand according to gestures or commands and last for a certain period of time.

"Handshake" training

Act based on "position". During training, the owner stands opposite the dog and issues the "stand" command. When it stood firm, he gave the command "handshake." At the same time, grab the dog's forelimb with one hand and swing it up and down. After a few repetitions, reward with touch and food. Then leave the dog for a while, when the command is given, without any help. If it doesn't do it, repeat a few times until it does. At the beginning of training, some simple gestures can be added, but the dog's conditioned reflex to the gestures should be prevented. When the movements are very stable, as long as the "handshake" command is issued, a series of reflection activities such as standing and snuggling can be completed at one time without issuing two commands.

Note: Dog training should be done in an open area without being disturbed, so that the dog can concentrate on learning. Practice one movement at a time for fifteen minutes a day. After you have learned one movement, take off the chain and rope and practice again. Only teach the next movement when you are satisfied.

Remember, when your dog does something wrong or doesn’t obey instructions, don’t punish it. Instead, as soon as it does something right, pat its head and praise it a few times. It will become more obedient because encouragement is never too much. many.
