Don’t bathe your dog too frequently

The general rule of thumb is to bathe your dog only when it is smelly and dirty. Never wash it once every three days or even every day. This will wash away the protective layer on the dog's skin. Although the result is clean, fragrant and pleasant, the dog's skin will be weak.

Pay attention to the physical condition of the dog when bathing it

In summer, it is enough to wash it once every seven to ten days, and in winter, it is enough to wash it once every two weeks. It is most reasonable to bathe your dog according to how dirty it is. Do not bathe puppies two months old, old dogs, or dogs that are seriously ill. They can be wiped with a warm and wet towel, or use dry cleaning powder or foam dry cleaning agent.

When bathing a dog, the dog must defecate first

Puppies should be bathed two weeks after they are born in February and vaccinated. Outdoor dogs should be washed three to four times a year, while indoor dogs should be washed once every half month. Dogs don't sweat as easily as humans, and they don't need to be bathed as often. Before bathing your dog, you should let it discharge urine and feces, and then bathe it in sequence.

Pay attention to the order when bathing a dog

Put the puppy in warm water at 36℃~38℃, and first eliminate the secretions near the anus. Soak the sponge in shampoo diluted dozens of times, then wash the whole body from the head to the back, and then rinse it with clean water. Be careful not to let shampoo enter your eyes, nose and mouth.
