How to make German Shepherd ears stand up

1. Trim the hair around the eyes
We can try to observe whether the hair around the Samoyed’s eyes is too long and gets stuck into the eyes to form tear stains. If the hair is too long, the owner does not need to worry too much. He only needs to pay more attention and then repair the hair around the dog's eyes in time.
2. Clean your eyes regularly
You can cut off the contaminated hair on the Samoyed’s face and use chloramphenicol eye drops to reduce inflammation once a day. When observing the reduction of secretions and tears around the eyes of the Samoyed dog, you can stop using chloramphenicol eye drops (which often have side effects) and change to milder nursing eye drops two to three times a week. At the same time, don’t forget to continue to cut the hair that has grown out, and clean the secretions from the corners of the dog’s eyes every day. It is best to scrub with a wet towel with warm water. After washing, use a dry paper towel to absorb the moisture on the fur, and blow dry when you have time. After a month of persistence, the polluted and discolored fur was sheared off, and the newly grown fur no longer turned yellow and red after care, and the tear stains were gone.
Of course, if the tear stains are very serious or even the eyes are inflamed, you should take your Samoyed to see a doctor promptly. Do not delay, so as not to delay the condition.
3. Drink more water
If your Samoyed has tear stains, you should let the dog drink more water. If the dog gets too angry and drinks too little water, the salt in the body cannot be discharged in time, which will lead to tear stains. If the dog does not like to drink water, the owner can try to change the drinking utensils or drinking methods so that the dog can drink more water unknowingly while playing. Over time, the dog will get used to drinking water and will drink from the bowl on its own.
