What is the appearance of a Dalmatian? The ideal height for a Dalmatian is about 19 to 23 inches at the withers. A height over 24 inches at the withers is a disqualification. The length of the body is roughly equal to the height at the withers. The eyes are set slightly apart, and the eye color is usually brown or blue, darker is better. The coat should be short, thick, fine and close-fitting, smooth and shiny.

Dalmatian, commonly known as Dalmatian, is a medium-sized short-haired dog. In the United States, the recognized body shape is: shoulder height 48.5 to 61cm, weight 19kg-32kg. Females are usually slightly smaller than males. But now, many Dalmatians are much larger than the norm. Some male Dalmatians can even reach a shoulder height of 70cm and a weight of 40kg. The British Dalmatians seem to be larger than those in the United States.

Dalmatians: The ideal height at the withers is approximately 19 to 23 inches. Too large or too small is a defect. Any dog, male or female, exceeding 24 inches at the withers shall be disqualified. Overall body length (distance from sternum to hip) is approximately equal to height at withers.

Eyes: Slightly set apart, medium in size, a bit round in appearance, and in an appropriate position on the head. Eye color is usually brown or blue, or a combination of the two, preferably darker, usually in black-spotted breeds than in liver-spotted breeds.

The coat is short, thick, fine and close-fitting. Neither wool nor silk. The appearance of the coat is sleek, shiny, and healthy.

Generally speaking, the main things to pay attention to when choosing a puppy are:

1. Be sure to choose someone who is in good mental condition and relatively active. And it's not the excitement of meeting a stranger, but the excitement is relatively high and the state is relatively good.

2. Choose the stronger one among a group of puppies. You can feed the puppies some dog food and see which dog comes to eat first.
