What is the difference between Huskies and Samoyeds? The first point is that Huskies are generally smaller in size than Samoyeds. The second point is that the Husky's mouth is wide, flat and short, while the Samoyed's mouth is thicker and the length is equal to the width. The third point is that the hair on the neck of the Eskimo dog is ring-shaped, shaped like a scarf, while the Samoyed does not. The fourth point is that the Samoyed's eyes are almond-shaped, while the Huskies' eyes are rounder. The fifth point is that the Huskies' ears are much larger than the Samoyed's.

 1.Height

The body shape of Eskimo dogs is roughly divided into three categories: small dogs are 23 to 31CM in height, medium dogs are 31 to 38CM, and large dogs are 38 to 48CM.

Samoyed: The height of adult male dogs is 53 to 60CM, and the height of adult female dogs is 48 to 53CM.

 2. Mouth

The Huskies’ mouth is wide and flat, and its length is no longer than the length of the skull, which is shorter!

The Samoyed’s mouth is thicker, and its length is equal to its width. If the corners of its mouth are raised, it will look like a smile!

 3. Hair

The inner hair of the Huskies is short and dense, and the outer hair is straight but not curly. The hair on its neck is ring-shaped, shaped like a scarf, and the hair on its tail is very long and fluffy!

The hair on the lower body of the Samoyed is short and soft, as comfortable as wool. The hair on its upper body is thick and long, growing vertically and not curly!

 4. Eyes

Purebred Samoyed: eyes are almond-shaped; Huskies’ eyes are much rounder than almonds!

 5. Ears

Samoyed’s ears are small, while Huskies’ ears are much larger in comparison.
