1. First let the golden retriever clarify the password

Because Golden Retrievers are very sensitive, in order for Golden Retrievers to understand and remember them, it is best to use short, clearly pronounced sentences for passwords during training, and it is not appropriate to say them repeatedly. In addition, when giving orders, avoid being loud or angry. At the same time, the same command should be given in different tones for golden retriever dogs with different temperaments. For example, if both "squat", a nervous golden retriever should be ordered gently or heartily, and a lively golden retriever should be ordered loudly and decisively. The breeder should order it according to the characteristics of his own golden retriever. Characters choose different ways.

 2. Reject rough methods

Like any animal, Golden Retrievers are very wary of people, and corporal punishment is the most unacceptable method to force Golden Retrievers to obey. From a dog's perspective, being beaten or kicked for no apparent reason can only create the impression of being "abused." If it is a very powerful owner, the golden retriever may obey out of fear. However, dogs that grow up in this environment are extremely insecure and sometimes attack weaker children or the elderly, or even bite people. Therefore, when the golden retriever does not obey the command, if you shout the command and shoot the golden retriever in the face with a water gun, most dogs will calm down.

 3. Training anytime and anywhere

There is a misunderstanding that golden retriever training has a time limit. This is actually wrong. We should patiently teach Golden Retrievers what to do and what not to do in daily life such as walking, eating, and visiting.

4. Don’t praise too much

Unlike educating babies, praising a golden retriever should be limited to when the golden retriever is very obedient. If you praise it at all times, it will confuse it. It will not know when it will be praised, which will make future training more difficult.

5. Corrections must be made in a timely manner

When your Golden Retriever is about to do something it “can’t do”, you should stop it loudly and decisively. If you reprimand it afterwards, the golden retriever will not understand the reason and will still continue to do those "cannot do" things. What's more serious is that if the golden retriever is often reprimanded for unknown reasons, the golden retriever will gradually develop a sense of distrust towards the owner and no longer listen to the owner's orders.

 6. Cultivate adaptability

Golden retrievers often avoid things they don’t like, bark at them, or simply destroy them. This sometimes causes a lot of trouble for the owner. In this case, you must first be patient and never be impatient. Let the golden retriever slowly approach the things it doesn't like.At the same time, keep talking to it in a gentle voice to calm it down. If you beat and scold the dog at this time, it will make the golden retriever hide further.

7. Be patient

Golden retrievers are not animals that can be learned and followed immediately after being taught once or twice. It requires the gradual formation of memory through continuous training. Therefore, breeders are required to be patient and constantly train it.

8. Don’t compare with other golden retrievers

Golden retrievers have different abilities. Therefore, they should be trained at a speed that is suitable for them. You must not compare yourself with other golden retrievers and think that "my golden retrievers have really poor understanding." Be confident in your golden retriever dog.
