 1. Looking at it as a whole

From the distance from the buttocks of the lower body to the front legs, the Silky Terrier's body shape appears to be rectangular, while the Yorkshire Terrier's body shape is square.

 2. Looking from the face

The Silky Terrier’s mouth and nose are particularly long, while the Yorkie’s face appears more rounded, and the muzzle is closer to the nose, not very short!

3. Look from the forehead

The Silky Terrier’s forehead should be a little flatter. If it is combed with pigtails, it will be difficult to lean forward like a Yorkshire Terrier. Therefore, it usually combs its head to the side. It’s what’s called a middle-parted hairstyle. The Yorkie's forehead is obviously more prominent, and it is also suitable for some handsome hairstyles.

 4. From the perspective of body shape

As the name suggests, it is the so-called weighing which one weighs more. In general, the average height of the Silky Terrier ranges from 23 to 26 centimeters. There is no clear standard for its weight, which can be directly proportional to the height! But it is generally about 4.5 kilograms. The weight of the Yorkshire terrier is no more than 3.1 kilograms, and even the dogs on the field only weigh 2 kilograms. Due to its height and weight, it is not suitable for competitions. At least the result is not optimistic!
