1. Treat the affected area

Clean the area where the fungus has grown, cut off the hair, and then apply medicine. The area of application is slightly larger than the scope of the lesion, which can prevent the spread and inhibit a small amount of fungi that may have spread to the surrounding area.

2. Take medication with caution

Griseofulvin should be used with caution, especially in puppies under one year old, because all fungicidal oral drugs are very harmful to the liver and will cause liver dysfunction in dogs in the future, leaving the root of the disease. Even if the dog suffers from serious systemic fungus, when taking griseofulvin, it should be mashed or ground into powder, mixed with cooking oil and fed, and it is best to stop feeding one day and then feed it at intervals.

 3. Bath in the sunshine

Ultraviolet rays in the sun can kill mold, but be careful not to expose your dog to the sun for a long time, otherwise it will easily cause heat stroke and sunburn.

4. Take regular baths

For dogs infected with fungi, it is best to use special shampoo or sulfur soap for a long time. It is recommended to use it once every 1 to 3 days. Because fungi can be transmitted to humans, please be careful about disinfection. Dog bathing utensils should also be disinfected frequently.

5. Increase nutrition

After a dog suffers from fungal disease, it must be supplemented with nutrients. Give your dog an animal vitamin supplement (or crush up a children's vitamin medicine such as Centurion and Shirkang and mix it into a canned dog food, the effect is the same, one pill a day). Nutritional supplements can be taken for a longer period of time, 3, 4 months or half a year.

 6. Timely inspection

Pay attention to promptly detect new fungi growing in other parts of the dog's body. The method is to apply the medicine to the dog every day, follow the fur, and touch the dog's skin from head to tail carefully with both hands. If your hands touch a hard little pimple, open the fur and have a look. , you can find a small piece of scab and a small amount of skin flakes next to it, which is the newly grown fungus. These areas should be trimmed and applied with medicine immediately according to the above method.
