There are two main reasons why cats like to pounce on people: The first is that cats have a natural talent for hunting and regard people as prey, so they will pounce on people. There is also a situation where the cat is retaliating against its owner. Because the owner loudly scolds it or punishes it, it becomes retaliatory, so it will suddenly attack others for revenge. When a cat behaves like this, the owner can patiently train the cat and let the cat change the habit of being a servant. Remember not to beat or scold the cat again, otherwise it may be counterproductive.

 1. Talent

Cats have a talent for hunting, so when they are playing, they will regard all moving things as prey. If someone passes near them at this time, they will pounce on them and then run away. For this situation, the owner can usually prepare some more toys for the cat, such as wool balls, toy mice, etc., so that the cat can practice hunting. When it gets tired of playing, it will naturally not have the energy to pounce on people.

 2. Revenge against the master

Some cats are more vindictive. If their owner does something they don’t like, such as scolding them, punishing them, accidentally stepping on them, etc., they will develop a sense of revenge and will suddenly pounce on people once they find an opportunity. Even peed on the owner's bed. If this is the case, the owner must not reward or punish the cat. Instead, the owner needs to let the cat put down its guard against him, stroke the cat's chin and back, and play with the cat more. Do not force the cat.
