What medicine should be kept at home when raising a cat?

Generally speaking, it is not too early to neuter a male cat that is 6 months old. Neutering surgery can effectively prevent the occurrence of some diseases. If the owner does not need to breed male cats, the cat can be sterilized when the cat is 6 months old. Be careful not to let the cat run around after the sterilization operation to avoid wound tearing, which is not conducive to post-operative recovery.
Precautions before sterilizing male cats:
1. The cat needs to be deprived of food and water for 24 hours before the operation, because the anesthetic will cause the cat to vomit. Food can easily block the trachea and nasal passages.
2. Take a bath one week before the operation, and do not take a bath for one month after the operation.
3. Observe whether the cat’s diet, sleep, defecation and urination are normal, and vaccinate the male cat 15 days before surgery to ensure that the cat has a good health.
4. Prepare a large, flat box for the male cat that can accommodate the size of the cat.
5. Prepare a clean mattress and bedding for the cat, so that the cat can have a comfortable sleeping environment after surgery.
