There is no fixed month for British shorthair cats to be in estrus. It is mainly related to the hormone levels in the cat's body, but the peak period of cats' estrus is in spring and autumn, usually from May to June, and from September to November. Each estrus usually lasts about 6-10 days. Cats usually go into heat four times a year, at least three times.

3. Do not bathe the cat when it is in estrus. Cats will be very irritable when they are in estrus. Bathing the cat at this time can easily cause the cat to have a stress reaction and even hurt people.
