2. Acute and chronic hepatitis, infectious and parasitic diseases, chronic pancreatitis and various chronic metabolic diseases, diabetes, etc. can also cause cats to suffer from fatty liver.

Symptoms of fatty liver disease in cats:

1. Obesity will lead to thickening of subcutaneous fat and increased abdominal circumference.

2. Symptoms such as depression, drowsiness, general weakness, slow movement, loss of appetite or sudden loss of appetite, weight loss, dehydration and other symptoms are prone to occur.

3. If you touch its body, you will feel that its body temperature is high.

4. In the later stage of the disease, yellow staining of mucous membranes, skin, inner ears or gums can be seen.

5. The liver is obviously enlarged, but the cat will not show any obvious reaction when pressed with hands. Rarely, some cats may develop hepatic encephalopathy.
