The suitable temperature for planting cat grass is generally 15-25℃. When the temperature is low or high, it can be planted in an air-conditioned room. Pay attention to watering the cat grass when the weather is hot in summer, and don’t forget to let the cat grass bask in the sun when the weather is low in winter. You can feed the cat when the cat grass has grown to a certain extent. Do not wait for the cat grass to wither before feeding the cat. This is not good for the cat's health.

Notes on growing cat grass:

1. Choose high-quality cat grass seeds. You can buy cat grass seeds online, usually oat or wheat seeds.

2. Prepare loose and breathable nutrient soil to help cat grass germinate and grow. You can also choose to grow cat grass in water. Although it is grown in water, the amount of water should not be too much and the depth should not exceed the roots, otherwise it will easily become moldy.

3. It needs sufficient sunlight, but do not expose it to the sun. Generally, it will be fine if it is exposed to the sun for a while when the sun is not too strong. It does not need to be exposed to light for a long time before the seedlings grow. After the cat grass grows green buds, it can be placed on the balcony or other places with sufficient scattered light for maintenance.

4. Spread the seeds evenly on the soil. Be careful not to let the seeds accumulate. Just spread them flat. Cat grass seeds can be soaked in water for about 8 hours. In summer, the soaking time can be shortened appropriately, but in winter, the soaking time needs to be extended.

5. During this period, only water once every 1-2 days to ensure that the soil is moist. There is no need to fertilize during the growth process. After the seedlings grow to 10 cm, they can be harvested and eaten. If you find moldy areas, it is best to discard them and remove the surrounding ones to avoid affecting normal seedlings.
