Kittens can be vaccinated when they are 2 months old. After the first injection, there is an interval of 21 days, then a booster shot, and then an interval of 21 days before the third booster shot. After the third injection, the rabies vaccine should be administered one week apart. Thereafter, the cat will be vaccinated once a year to strengthen the immunity. In order to prevent the vaccine effect from expiring, it can be vaccinated one week earlier than the previous year.

What should be paid attention to when vaccinating kittens:

1. Vaccination is not recommended before the age of two months. Because kittens before two months of age are protected by maternal antibodies, if vaccinated at this time, it will easily cause the vaccine to become ineffective. Therefore, the level of maternal antibodies in the kittens should be reduced before vaccination.

2. It is generally recommended to inject rabies vaccine when kittens are three months old.

3. Kittens can only be vaccinated if they are in good health. Do not take a bath or go out for one week after vaccination to avoid contracting germs and getting sick.
