Symptoms of cat flea allergy dermatitis:

1. Mild symptoms: mainly simple itching, in addition to redness of the skin under the armpits and groin, No other symptoms appear.

2. Moderate symptoms: Characteristic erythematous papules and reddish-brown scabs appear at the base of the tail along the midline of the back.

3. Chronic type: The skin lesions are most obvious in the second half of the cat's body, with diffuse hair loss, skin hypertrophy and wrinkles, scales formed by epithelial disintegration, and patchy acute eczema. Characteristic symptoms such as dermatitis sometimes even lead to suspicion of endocrine disorders. The hair loss areas are symmetrically distributed. Although the itching is mild, the symptoms often become chronic due to scratching or tongue licking. The neck and extremities of the limbs are not affected.

Treatment of flea allergy dermatitis in cats:

1. Stay away from allergens.

2. Apply desensitizing medicine, take desensitizing injections, etc.

3. Deworming and vaccination should be carried out regularly.
