Cats can't eat lollipops. Lollipops are sharp and hard, and can easily be eaten by cats and block their gastrointestinal tract, causing indigestion. At the same time, the sugar content in lollipops is very high, which will increase the burden on the cat’s kidneys and cause serious damage to the body. In addition, lollipops also contain xylitol, which can damage the cat’s liver and cause symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea. Therefore, it is recommended not to feed cats lollipops or foods with high sugar content.

What to do if a cat accidentally eats a lollipop and gets stuck:

1. Grab the cat’s head with one hand and put your thumb and index finger on it. Use the palm of your hand to hold the rest of the cat's head behind its long fangs.

2. Gently tilt the cat back, face upward, and use your thumbs to grasp the cat's mouth to open its mouth.

3. Gently pull out the cat's tongue. If you can see the lollipop, try to remove the lollipop with your fingers or needle-nose pliers.

4. If you still can't take the lollipop out, grab the cat's hind legs and turn it upside down and shake it vigorously. Patting it on the back while shaking can help the lollipop tip out.
