What medicine should be kept at home when raising a cat?

It is generally recommended that cats be dewormed when they are 7 weeks old. Internal deworming can be performed first, and then external deworming can be performed to prevent the cat from experiencing stress reactions. If the cat has strong adaptability, internal and external deworming can be performed at the same time. Cats need to be dewormed internally every month for the first six months, and then every three months for preventive internal deworming and external deworming.
Notes on cat deworming:
1. External deworming is usually dropped on the skin. It takes three days for the drug to be fully effective, so you cannot take a bath within three days.
2. Some cats are sensitive to a certain type of anthelmintics. After deworming, you must pay attention to whether there are allergies or other symptoms.
3. When performing external deworming, it must be dropped on the skin of the cat’s neck. If dropped on other places, it may be licked by the cat and cause poisoning.
4. For internal deworming, it is best to feed on an empty stomach, as it will not be mixed with food and absorbed, resulting in reduced efficacy.
