The lumps on both sides of the cat’s cheeks are more likely to be lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are peripheral immune organs that engulf nearby dirt or invaders. After swallowing, the lymph nodes will become larger.

If you feel enlarged lymph nodes with regular edges, round or oval shape, smooth, mobile, and clear boundaries, this is a normal phenomenon and will generally subside on its own. If it does not subside for a long time and has a tendency to rapidly grow into multiple lymph nodes, there is a possibility of malignant lymphoma.
