Hemolysis in newborn kittens can be saved. The owner can send the kitten to a pet hospital for transfusion of albumin to relieve the hemolysis, or he can treat it at home. When hemolysis is found in a biological kitten, the kitten should be placed in a warm place and isolated separately, artificially. Feed milk powder and help with defecation. If the kitten no longer urinates blood within 48 hours, the antibodies are consumed and the kitten will survive. If kittens with hemolysis are not treated, they will die within a short period of time.
